planqc is seeking an experienced experimental AMO physicist to contribute to the design and optimization of state-of-the-art quantum computers based on neutral atoms. In this role, you will work with a diverse team of experts in hardware, software, and quantum algorithms, and will be responsible for developing measuring campaigns and analyzing experimental data.
The ideal candidate holds a PhD or Postdoc in AMO physics, has hands-on experience with neutral-atom platforms, and a track record of peer-reviewed publications. A competitive benefits package is offered, making this an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing startup.

You will bring your deep AMO expertise to the design, construction, characterization, and continuous improvement of our neutral-atom quantum processing unit. You will be part of a large, diverse team, working shoulder to shoulder with hardware engineers, software developers, electronics specialists, and quantum algorithm researchers.
