HYROX seeks an Event Layout & CAD Manager to design scalable, high-impact venue layouts for a global race series. You will craft 2D floorplans in AutoCAD, develop templates, and collaborate with Operations, Branding, AV, and Logistics to translate complex requirements into buildable drawings.

With 3–5 years in live events or venue planning, you will ensure on-time delivery, spatial feasibility, and safety compliance while communicating clearly with cross-functional teams.

Qualifikationen

• 3–5 years of CAD-based layout or technical design experience in live events, exhibitions, or venue planning.
• Advanced AutoCAD (2D essential); familiarity with Vectorworks, SketchUp, or Rhino is a bonus.
• Strong spatial understanding of flow, capacity, and build feasibility under tight deadlines.
• Clear presenter of complex drawings to non-technical stakeholders.
• English language at C-level; German is a plus.

As Event Layout & CAD Manager (m/f/d), you won’t just create floorplans, you will design the physical heartbeat of our global race series. Combining technical precision, spatial intelligence, and operational thinking, you will craft scalable, high-impact venue layouts globally, from Hamburg to Hong Kong. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Global Floorplan Design: Lead the creation, optimization, and scaling of 2D event layouts in AutoCAD to ensure smooth athlete flow, capacity, and safety.
• Standards & Template Building: Develop and maintain global layout templates, CAD block libraries, and spatial standards to streamline hundreds of events per year.
• Cross-Functional Translation: Collaborate closely with Operations, Branding, AV, and Logistics to translate complex event requirements into clear, buildable technical drawings.
• On-Site Assessments & Audits: Conduct venue measurements, perform spatial assessments, and continuously update digital site models based on real-world constraints.
• Spatial Data & Capacity Modeling: Support venue capacity planning and spatial data management across diverse international venue types.
• Feasibility & Compliance: Ensure all layout designs are delivered on time, are operationally buildable, and comply fully with local regulations and safety guidelines.

YOUR PROFILE

• Technical Experience: 3–5 years of CAD-based layout or technical design experience in live events, exhibitions, or venue planning (junior profiles with high drive considered!).
• CAD Expertise: Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD (2D essential, 3D a plus); familiarity with Vectorworks, SketchUp, or Rhino is a bonus.
• Spatial Intelligence: Deep understanding of spatial flow, event circulation, scale, and build feasibility under tight turnaround times.
• Strong Communicator: Ability to present complex technical drawings clearly to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
• Language Skills: English (C-Level written and spoken); German is a plus.
• Passion: Genuine enthusiasm for sport, spatial design, and high-energy live event experiences.
