About ERP and the Project

Energy Resilience Partners, LLC (ERP) is a tribally led federal energy-resilience contractor building the contingent team for the USAG Ansbach - Storck Barracks Smart Microgrid in Bavaria, Germany. The 730-day project integrates two 1 MW diesel generators, 2 MW / 4 MWh battery energy storage, photovoltaic generation, 20 kV medium-voltage distribution, fuel systems, protection, SCADA/microgrid controls, fiber communications, an underground interconnection corridor and full testing, training and commissioning.

Position Summary

Owns host-nation permits, environmental interface, authority coordination, permit register, local submission support, and acceptance evidence.

What You Will Do
  • Establish and maintain the local facilities, permits, environmental controls, logistics, materials, communications, and administrative support required for productive field work.
  • Coordinate Germany-local authorities, suppliers, service providers, installation stakeholders, and project work fronts.
  • Track prerequisites, conditions, records, renewals, inspections, deliveries, and closeout obligations.
  • Identify local labor, environmental, permit, traffic, space, material, or service constraints and initiate recovery actions.
  • Maintain bilingual or local-language support where assigned and protect ERP's authorized communication chain.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Relevant Germany/EU experience, legal right to perform the assigned work in Germany, and qualifications appropriate to the function.
  • Strong local coordination, documentation, safety, environmental, logistics, or administrative capability.
  • Ability to support the specified field/Munich schedule and installation access requirements.
  • German-language capability and Germany-local credential/practice knowledge appropriate to the duties; English required for Government-facing functions.
Preferred Qualifications

German/English bilingual capability; U.S. Forces project experience; local permit, environmental, logistics, or trade credentials.

Germany Work Authorization, Location and Access
  • Candidate must possess unrestricted EU/EEA/Swiss labor-market access or other valid German work authorization before starting.
  • Germany-local/EU-authorized employment or compliant local subcontracting; validate payroll, wage, time, insurance, trade, and posting obligations.
  • Employer/engagement source must match the approved ERP staffing plan, subcontract chain, independence rules and German employment/work-status requirements.
  • No field work may begin until required Government personnel approval, installation access/badging, safety orientation, role designation/appointment, system/data permissions and work-front release are complete.
Field, Travel and Employment Conditions
  • Work arrangement: GERMANY-BASED HYBRID; minimum presence: Germany resident; Munich PMO and site presence; full-time critical permit phase.
  • Project-based and contingent upon award/NTP, funding, final staffing authorization, qualification verification, Government approval where applicable, employer-of-record completion and installation access.
  • Must support approved work hours, outages, testing windows, alternate shifts, weekends or German holidays when the schedule and lawful working-time controls require.
  • Must comply with ERP/prime direction, EM 385-1-1, German safety and labor requirements, quality controls, CUI/FCI and photography/device restrictions, accurate timekeeping and project conduct rules.
