The Company:

Our client is an established, global medical technology company that specializes in innovative minimal invasive therapies and other industrial applications. With over 30 years of experience, the company is a market leader in certain segments. They develop, produce and sell innovative capital equipment that is used worldwide during surgery or in other industrial applications like the semiconductor or mechanical engineering industry. The company operates in over 100 countries and is known for its technological leadership and its unique solutions - partially as a market leader. Due to the innovation driven culture they are adopting the usage of AI rather quickly, but are hampered by a legacy ERP system. They have therefore decided pivot to Microsoft Dynamics 365 and are therefore now looking for an IT Architect or Enterprise Architect, who would report to the Corporate Digital & AI Head. The focus of the position is to successfully conduct the ERP transformation with the clear goal to make the data usable for AI usage.

The Position:

• You will be the responsible IT-Architect / Enterprise Architect for the Microsoft Dynamics 365 introduction, the platform design and the AI landscape with a focus on global operations and manufacturing
• You will evaluate not only the current ERP system and its usage and the whole data structure, but you will drive forward the organizational transformation around it - including all processes using the maximum from the Microsoft Power Tools eco system
• You will define SOPs, establish standards and restructure / automate processes within the governance and regulatory framework
• You will build up organizational resources and data to thereby future-proof the foundation for AI and Machine Learning applications
• You will therefore work closely alongside the top management and coordinate projects with internal and external stakeholders
• You will establish a positive RoI and develop the role into an AI-driven Enterprise Architect

Your Profile:

• You have experience with the introduction of an ERP system and here specifically -Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the whole Microsoft eco system- at a manufacturer
• You are open for AI and ML applications and already collected some experience in your role as an IT-Architect
• You have strong analytic capabilities and you have already shown that you execute complex projects with different stakeholders on an international level
• You push your projects to get things done in an agile fashion - fully knowing that mistakes might happen, which you then manage accordingly
• You have the ability to take stakeholders and whole organizations with you to ensure that the solutions are used to their maximum potential
• You have excellent interpersonal and business communication skills, which enable you to talk to all hierarchical levels of a complex and international matrix organization with different value chains
• You have strong presentation skills and you can be an evangelist for your projects to enthuse others about them
• You consider yourself to be hands-on and a self-starter, who is able to make decisions and get things done
• You are able to report frequently into the Global Management team - including the CEO and owner
• You are able to travel globally
• You are fully fluent in English - German is not necessary
