Private family in Nürtingen is seeking an English-speaking babysitter to spend time with two bilingual children aged 3 and 6. The role focuses on keeping English as a natural, active language in daily interactions, with activities such as playing, crafts, reading, and outdoor time.

We are looking for a warm, empathetic, and reliable person who can commit to a long-term arrangement, meeting 1–2 times weekly for about 2–4 hours.

Qualificações

• Must be a native English speaker.
• Experience caring for young children (ages 3 and 6) preferred.
• Engaging, patient and reliable personality.

English-Speaking Babysitter Wanted for Two Bilingual Kids (3 & 6)

We’re a friendly family living in Nürtingen, looking for a warm, reliable, and enthusiastic English-speaking babysitter to spend time with our two children, aged 3 and 6.

Our children have grown up bilingually. I’ve spoken English with them since birth, and we’ve also had au pairs who communicated with them exclusively in English. Both children understand English perfectly, but since our last au pair left, we’ve noticed that they’re increasingly switching to German when speaking.

Since we’re not planning to have another au pair, we are hoping to find someone who can help keep English a natural and active part of their lives

What we’re looking for:

• A native English speaker who can spend time with our children once or twice a week for approximately 2–4 hours.
• An empathetic and engaging personality who loves playing, puzzling, crafting, baking, reading stories, or spending time outdoors.

I would usually be at home working in my office during these hours.

Ideally, we’re hoping to find someone interested in a long-term arrangement, as building a genuine connection with our children is very important to us.
