Your Mission

• Lead and develop a group of up to 10 software engineers both professionally and disciplinarily
• Lead the replatforming of our medimops webshop to Shopify ensuring maintainability and extendability of all customizations
• Contribute hands‑on to the design and implementation of the new platform with focus on performance resilience and great user experience
• Lead towards a new era of our medimops shop in close collaboration with product teams tech leads and POs ensuring alignment across cross‑functional teams
• Drive the technical vision and strategy together with other tech leads
• Foster a culture of ownership collaboration and self‑organization within and across teams
• Continuously improve our CI / CD pipelines and development processes

Your Profile

• Hands‑on experience with the Shopify Plus ecosystem including liquid templating and Remix app development
• Building and integrating custom Shopify apps and webhooks
• Resilient consumption error handling and monitoring of external integrations
• Solid knowledge of frontend technologies like React, Remix and Typescript
• Proven leadership experience with engineering teams in agile environments including disciplinary responsibility
• Experience in building and maintaining large‑scale high‑traffic platforms with strong uptime requirements
• Enthusiasm for building reliable scalable systems that combine strong engineering with great user experience
• Strong communication and business fluent English language skills (German is a plus)

Nice to have

• Familiarity with end‑to‑end testing using frameworks like Playwright
• Understanding of modern frontend performance observability and monitoring best practices
• Experience with Typescript, Python and MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Experience applying Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) and Clean Architecture principles to keep complex systems maintainable
