• Proven people-leadership experience leading engineering teams in a high-tech environment.
• Strong technical background in RF-optical systems, photonic measurement technology, product test design, or design of excellence.
• Experience owning process and product quality over the full product lifecycle.
• Experience supporting product introductions and technology transfer to mass-manufacturing sites.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing process development, yield management, reliability, and quality methodologies.
• Ability to operate effectively across global, cross-site engineering and manufacturing networks.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across disciplines, cultures, and seniority levels.
• Fluent in English and German

Responsibilities

The Optical Technology Center in Böblingen is Keysight’s global engineering and technology hub for optical, electro-optical, and high-frequency co-packaging solutions. We enable new products and early manufacturing by developing differentiated manufacturing technologies, processes, and tooling for next-generation optical instruments and opto-electrical systems.

As engineering manager for the Optical Technology Center, you lead a multidisciplinary engineering team responsible for product and technology introduction, process development, and engineering support across optical and electro-optical manufacturing. You ensure technical excellence, scalable solutions, and close alignment with product introduction programs, R&D, and operations.

• Strong technical background in one or more of the following areas: RF-optical systems, photonic measurement technology, product test design, or design of excellence.
