GlobalFoundries in Dresden is seeking a Test Development Engineer to design and implement test programs and hardware for SOC devices with memory, NVM, logic, mixed signal and RF.

You will work on electrical characterization, production release, and continuous test process improvement, with a focus on yield optimization and efficient test time.

Qualifikationen

• Master’s Degree or Diploma in information technology/communications engineering/electrical engineering/physics or comparable.
• Professional experience in electrical test beneficial.
• Very good knowledge of electronic measurement methods.
• Programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python.
• Knowledge in test hardware design is an advantage.
• Knowledge in memory test procedures is an advantage.
• Very good written and spoken English skills.

Introduction GlobalFoundries operates a Test Facility at the Dresden site. As part of the fab, Test is responsible for the functional testing of the manufactured wafers, known as wafer sorting. The development of test solutions for autonomous mobility, Industry 4.0 and 5G in Europe is an interesting and great challenge for which we would like to expand the team with an experienced Test Development Engineer.
Your Job Responsibilities As a Test Engineer you will be responsible for the development of test programs and test hardware for the functional test of SOC devices with memory, NVM, logic and mixed signal as well as RF components and the transfer of the test programs into production. The work task includes:

• Development of test concepts, test hardware and test programs for the functional test of devices with memory, NVM, logic and mixed signal/RF components
• Electrical characterization of NVM, memory logic and mixed signal/RF devices to support our technology development, yield engineering and quality teams
• Installation, correlation and release of test programs and test hardware for production
• Yield optimization, test time reduction and continuous improvement of the test process
• Creation of test project documentation

Required Qualifications

• Completed Master’s Degree or Diploma in the fields of information technology/communications engineering/electrical engineering/physics or comparable
• Professional experience in electrical test beneficial
• Very good knowledge of electronic measurement methods
• Programming skills in C/C++/Java/Python
• Knowledge in test hardware design (schematics, probe hardware preparation) is an advantage
• Knowledge in memory test procedures is an advantage
• Very good written and spoken English skills
