Zusammenfassung

Aurubis AG is seeking a technical specialist to own refractory linings and systems in metallurgical high-temperature processes. You will be responsible for material selection, design reviews and performance assessments to optimize uptime and safety.

You will plan inspections, coordinate repairs and installations, evaluate materials and supplier concepts, and contribute to group-wide standards. Collaboration with production, maintenance and site teams across Aurubis sites is essential.

• Ownership of refractory linings and systems in metallurgical high-temperature processes.
• Plan inspections and damage analyses to improve plant availability, safety and lining life.
• Coordinate refractory repairs, relinings and new installations with production, maintenance, engineering and site teams.
• Evaluate refractory materials, suppliers and concepts using technical specs, quality requirements, lifecycle cost and operating data.
• Analyse wear patterns, campaign life and performance indicators; develop group-wide standards and best-practice solutions.

• Evaluate refractory materials, suppliers and application concepts using technical specifications, quality requirements, lifecycle cost and operating data.
• Analyse wear patterns, campaign life and performance indicators, identify improvement potential and develop standards and best-practice solutions for use across the Group.
• Contribute refractory expertise to investment and optimization projects and collaborate with external suppliers and service partners at national and international Aurubis sites.
