  • Review engineering documents for quality, code compliance, and consistency with EVgo design standards from proposal through detailed engineering.

  • Read, interpret, and redline electrical drawings, utility design packages, zoning documents, and construction drawings.

  • Support permitting staff with preparation of materials for zoning and permitting agency interactions.

  • Track status of permit applications and approval milestones across an assigned project portfolio.

Project Coordination & Reporting:

  • Maintain pipeline reporting for projects in the development engineering phase; provide regular status updates on deliverable progress and lead times.

  • Track productivity metrics for work-in-progress and communicate updates to the supervising engineer or manager.

  • Use Salesforce, Sitetracker, or equivalent platforms to manage project data and support reporting functions.

Standards & Process Improvement:

  • Execute standardized design and construction logistics approaches; identify opportunities to improve efficiency and flag suggestions to the team.

  • Participate in technology evaluation reviews for integration into current or future projects.

  • Document lessons learned and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering templates and best practices.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Coordinate with Site Development, Grid Integration, and external partners to ensure engineering deliverables meet project requirements.

  • Provide design support to general contractors and other stakeholders during development and early construction phases.

  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned to support team and organizational objectives.
