Isar Aerospace seeks a mechanical/aerospace engineer to join the Combustion Devices team in Parsdorf, Germany. You will design, analyze, and test thrust chamber assemblies including injector heads, combustion chambers and nozzles, coordinating with production to ensure scalable, buildable designs in a fast-cycle environment.
The role requires an MSc in mechanical or aerospace engineering, several years of rocket component design, strong CFD and CAD skills, Python/MATLAB proficiency, fluent
You will join the Combustion Devices team and take responsibility for the thrust chamber assembly: injector head, combustion chamber and nozzle. You will design and analyse these components, plan and evaluate the tests that prove them, and work with production to make sure what you design can actually be built, quickly and at scale. This is a fast moving environment with a short design, build and test cycle.
