Safran Engineering Services in Hamburg participates in CFM Support, performing engine maintenance to ensure on-time delivery according to Airbus schedules. You will work within a mechanics team, using AMM, Service Bulletins and internal instructions while documenting all interventions in CFM/ Airbus systems.

The role requires solid engine mechanics knowledge, English fluency, and a willingness to be on weekend on-call. French or German skills are advantageous in a multinational environment.

Qualifikationen

• Solid knowledge of mechanics and engine functioning, with expertise in engine assembly and maintenance documentation.
• Knowledge of PART 21G, PART 66, or PART 145 is recommended.
• Experience in jet engine manufacturing or aircraft manufacturing would be an asset.
• Knowledge and use of Airbus tools: TLB, NC, and Intervention Card.
• Technical English is mandatory – fluent spoken English.
• French or German communication skills would be an asset.

Aufgaben

• Respect and use the work documentation (Aircraft Maintenance Manual, Service Bulletin Application and Internal Work Instruction).
• Perform unscheduled maintenance tasks (replacement of the Line Replaceable Unit, replacement of parts, engine boroscopy, inspection, troubleshooting, etc.).
• Perform standard tasks.
• Adhere to safety rules (wear protective gear; perform 5S inspection; etc…).
• Record all interventions/tasks within information systems (CFM & Airbus Systems).
• Contribute to product and service improvement: identify/capture risks, deviations, improvement's opportunities; propose correctives actions and improvement paths; identify the occurrence of major events.
• Report to your direct manager: the Mechanical and Logistical Operations Manager.
• Be on shift with the possibility of being on call during weekends (on a voluntary basis).
• Be part of a mechanics team and work with other CFM team's members (logistician, quality, airframer support engineer, safety, and methods).
• External: GE; CFM* and Safran Aircraft Engines' customers (airframer, airlines, etc…).
• Internal: Safran Aircraft Engines and GE customer teams (Customer Program Managers, services teams, customer quality).
• Safran Aircraft Engines' engineering; Safran Engineering Services for employment contract.

Within the CFM Support in Airbus Hamburg, technicians perform maintenance tasks to ensure the delivery of engines and aircraft according to the Airbus schedule. This work is carried out in compliance with current regulations to satisfy our customers.

Responsibilities:
