Job summary

Rewire, based in Heidelberg, is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead strategic data and AI programs for clients across Germany. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and oversee day‑to‑day transformation projects, turning insights into high‑impact outcomes.

You’ll mentor colleagues, shape proposals, and grow the practice through strong client relationships. The role requires 5+ years of relevant experience, fluency in English and German, and willingness to travel.

• Lead a broader,strategic data & AI program for one of our clients – from vision to unlock value with AI – typically across 1–3 workstreams
• Drive analytical problem-solving, data & AI solution integration, and output quality within your workstreams – leveraging both technology and business acumen to consistently connect business value with tech requirements through holistic thinking
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams – guide (Senior) Data Scientists and Engineers to deliver impactful solutions
• Coach & mentor team members – creating opportunities for growth and learning within the team

Where you’ll work

Most projects require working onsite at client locations throughout Germany (and occasionally Europe) for several days per week.

While our main office is located in Heidelberg, many of our team members are based across various cities in Germany. This reflects our flexible and distributed team structure and means that relocation is not a requirement.

When not working onsite with clients, you're warmly welcome to work from our Heidelberg office or from home.
