Service Director, EMEA

We are seeking a leader skilled at building and maintaining relationships at all levels, coaching, negotiating, resolving conflicts, team building, and more.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The LMS EMEA Service Director manages all LMS Field Operations related to Service, including profitable growth of service revenue, installation of new and demonstration equipment in EMEA, service contract repairs/refurbishment within SLAs, demand service, and warranty repairs.
  • Manage and oversee an organization of 120 staff, including Field Service Managers, Engineers, Customer Service, and Service Contract Sales, ensuring satisfactory performance, objectives, revenue, and profit targets.
  • Actively pursue customer feedback to ensure high satisfaction and incorporate Danaher Business Systems Tools into daily work.
  • Maintain knowledge of contractual obligations to respond and fulfill agreements with Customers, Dealers, and Third Parties.
  • Own and optimize the regional Service P&L, achieving financial objectives to generate above-market growth.
  • Recommend purchases and allocations of spare parts and supplies, maintaining or exceeding contractual commitments and customer expectations.
  • Establish close working relationships with Sales Management and Business Unit Management to address issues, create a team atmosphere, and capitalize on sales opportunities.
YOUR PROFILE
  • You have successfully completed an undergraduate degree; a Master’s degree is a plus.
  • You have at least 10 years of experience working for a global organization.
  • You have experience managing and developing customer-facing organizations.
  • Previous experience managing a field service organization and customer relationships is strongly preferred.
  • You are fluent in English and, if possible, German.

Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 40% within EMEA territory.
