Zusammenfassung

Airbus Defence & Space is seeking an EMC System and Equipment Engineer (m/f/d) to define and verify EMC requirements for aircraft and ground systems, and to lead qualification testing campaigns at equipment and system levels.

You will provide EMC expertise to design teams, participate in design reviews, and monitor suppliers and test houses to ensure compliance with EMC standards. Flexible, partly home-office work is offered.

Qualifikationen

• Completed studies in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Communication Techniques or High Frequency Techniques.
• Professional experience in Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineering and EMC testing equipment.
• Good knowledge in using EM simulation tools (FEKO, CST Studio Suite, ANSYS HFSS).
• Perspective to be taken over at our customer

Aufgaben

• Define, analyze, and verify EMC system and equipment-level requirements for aircraft and ground systems, including shielding, grounding, cabling, and EMI/EMC coupling mechanisms.
• Provide EMC/EMI expertise to design teams, participate in design reviews, support clearance activities, and ensure compliance with EMC principles, standards, and methodologies.
• Plan, execute, and evaluate EMC qualification and test campaigns at equipment and aircraft system level, including emissions and susceptibility testing.
• Monitor and evaluate suppliers and test houses regarding EMC activities, review test and analysis reports, and troubleshoot issues identified during design and testing.
• Create comprehensive EMC documentation, including test and analysis reports and compliance matrices, and support continuous improvement of EMC technologies

• Define, analyze, and verify EMC system and equipment-level requirements for aircraft and ground systems, including shielding effectiveness, grounding, bonding, cable routing, and EMI/EMC coupling mechanisms
• Provide technical EMC/EMI expertise to design teams, participate in design reviews, support clearance activities, and ensure compliance with applicable EMC principles, standards, and methodologies
• Define, plan, execute, and evaluate EMC qualification and test campaigns at equipment and aircraft system level, including conducted/radiated emissions and susceptibility testing at accredited facilities
• Monitor and evaluate suppliers and test houses regarding EMC activities, review test and analysis reports, assess equipment and aircraft modifications for EMC/EMI compliance, and troubleshoot issues identified during design, development, and testing
• Create comprehensive EMC documentation, including test and analysis reports and compliance matrices, and support the continuous improvement of EMC technologies, standards, and methodologies
