Job summary

OHB System AG in Bremen seeks an EMC Analysis & Test Engineer (m/f/d) to support satellite projects from pre-development to flight readiness, analyzing EMC and grounding requirements at spacecraft and equipment levels.

The role involves preparing EMC documentation, planning and executing EMC tests, and coordinating activities with customers, vendors, and subcontractors, while ensuring compliance across project phases.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering with a focus on electrical engineering, communications technology or high frequency engineering or an equivalent qualification
• Professional experience in phases B/C/D of satellite projects with proven expertise in EMC tasks and related hardware development activities
• Proficiency with EMC analysis and simulation tools and solid understanding of applicable standards and requirements in the satellite domain
• High degree of independence, responsibility, flexibility and the ability to work in a structured manner within complex technical projects
• Fluency in spoken and written English

Responsibilities

• Support satellite projects from the pre development phase through to flight readiness and analyse system requirements including the flowdown of EMC and grounding requirements at spacecraft and equipment level
• Prepare and maintain EMC related documentation including control plans, analyses, specifications, test procedures, reports and design descriptions
• Plan and execute EMC tests at unit, subsystem and system level and coordinate EMC related activities with customers, vendors and subcontractors
• Collaborate closely with the project team, system engineering and other technical divisions to ensure consistent EMC compliance throughout all project phases
• Prepare and present work results both internally and to the customer
