ATMOS Space Cargo seeks an Embedded Software Engineer to develop firmware for custom hardware at the boundary of electronics and software. You will define interfaces between software and hardware, work with CAN, SPI, I2C, and UART, and lead bring-up and testing across lab environments.
The role requires 5+ years in embedded software for custom hardware, strong C/C++ skills, and the ability to read schematics. English is essential; German is a plus.
ATMOS Space Cargo is seeking an Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d) with strong hands‑on experience at the boundary between firmware and electronic hardware. In this role, you will develop the embedded software running on our avionics and define how it interfaces with the hardware it controls, staying involved in the electronics design down to PCB level. Working closely with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineering, you will take ownership from requirements through board bring‑up, testing, and documentation.
