ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH seeks an experienced embedded software engineer to architect, implement and test safety-critical software in C for next-generation UAV platforms. You will bring up microprocessors, adapt BSPs, and optimize RTOS in multi-core environments, ensuring traceability and certification artifacts.

Fluency in English is required, German knowledge is a plus. The role offers flexible mobile working arrangements by agreement and a permanent contract in a growth-focused

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering or a comparable field.
• Hands-on experience in embedded software development, ideally within safety-critical environments.
• Experience with safety-critical standards such as DO-178C, ARINC 653 and DO-297.
• Strong knowledge of low-level software development, certification processes and tools such as DOORS and Python.
• Fluent in English and ideally knowledge of German.

Aufgaben

• Define and execute end-to-end operational test scenarios using Multisystem Integration Test RIGs.
• Support software architectures, real-time computing platforms and digitalized infrastructures from concept through certification.
