Zusammenfassung

ALTEN Consulting Services GmbH is seeking an Embedded Linux Software Engineer to develop Linux-based embedded software for advanced control systems. You will work across device drivers, interfaces and state machines while collaborating with software and hardware teams.

You will apply modern software architecture to improve testability, maintainability and quality, and support new technologies from concept to release in a cross-disciplinary environment.

Qualifikationen

• Masters degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Physics, Electrical Engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Hands-on embedded software development with strong analytical thinking and an innovative mindset.
• Experience with Linux real-time operating systems, including driver development and fieldbus protocols.
• Proficiency in C/C++ (C17 or higher), Python, and model-based development tools such as Enterprise Architect or HCL RTist.
• Knowledge of software testing, test automation and agile development methodologies.
• Fluent communication in English; German language skills are an advantage.
