Job summary

BSI is seeking an EMAS Verifier to audit our clients’ organisations against EMAS standards. The role includes on-site and remote audits, building strong client relationships, and driving continual improvement across environmental management systems.

The position is based in Austria with opportunities to work across international clients. Ideal candidates are EMAS qualified or willing to undergo training, and possess fluent English and German, plus excellent communication and negotiation skills.

The base salary for this position starts from 750 Euro per day

The role:

• You’ll be auditing our key clients that range from SME’s to Global super brands, building great relationships, learning about their business and products and allowing them to continuallyreassessand improve their business performance.
• You’ll be carrying out audits both on site and remotely
• You will play a pivotal role auditing their organisation or products against the relevant national and international management standards
• You will auditing mainly against EMAS

Your background

If you are registered as a EMAS Verifier you can immediately start help our clients.If not, we will design a training program for you.

However, to be successful in this role you’ll need:

• Knowledge of EMAS and applicable environmental legislation
• Fluent English and German
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
• Passion, commitment and energy
• Client-centric approach

Nice to have:

• Previous auditing experience
• Proven experience in managing key accounts or enterprise accounts
• Proven project delivery skills
• Previous experience as Consultants
• Extensive expertise in a wide range of branches
• A background within healthcare is preferred
