Zusammenfassung

Orsted Wind Power Germany seeks an Elektroingenieur to support maintenance planning for offshore substations, focusing on low‑voltage and auxiliary systems such as cranes, HVAC, FAS/FES, UPS and diesel generators.

You will prepare maintenance activities, coordinate with Transmission Technicians and Specialists, develop risk assessments, and ensure documentation and safety regulations are followed for safe offshore execution.

Qualifikationen

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience (EQF level 6) is required.
• Experience in maintenance of electrical or mechanical systems, preferably offshore.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Imagine a future where you support secure, safe, high‑quality operation of our offshore substations by preparing and coordinating essential maintenance work within low‑voltage and auxiliary systems, such as cranes, HVAC, FAS/FES, UPS and diesel generators. Join us in this role where you’ll plan and prepare maintenance, retrofits, and troubleshooting activities for mechanical and LV systems on offshore substations, ensuring all work follows legal and internal safety regulations, and support safe execution by our offshore teams. You’ll be part of HV and Transmission where you, together with your colleagues, will prepare offshore work tasks, coordinate with Transmission Technicians and Specialists, develop maintenance strategies, and secure the right tools, spare parts, and documentation for safe execution. As a team, we collaborate as one, looking out for each other’s safety, and achieve success together.

You’ll play an important role in:

To succeed in the role, you:

• Have a completed degree within engineering, mechatronics, or electrical engineering, or equivalent experience (EQF level 6).
• Bring experience within maintenance of electrical or mechanical systems, preferably in an offshore environment.
• Communicate clearly and collaborate well with others.
• Work independently, proactively, and with a safety‑first mindset.
• Speak and write English at B2 level or higher, and German at B1 level or higher.
• Have strong IT skills across Office tools.
