Overview

For our client, a famous company in the semiconductor sector, we are looking for an Electronics Engineer (m/f/d) - SMD Assembly/Soldering & Test Systems in Böblingen.

Responsibilities
  • Hands‑on SMD soldering and repair of PCBs, in addition to general hardware troubleshooting
  • Install, upgrade, calibrate, and maintain our client's test systems according to quality standards
  • Diagnose and repair complex hardware and software issues
  • Integrate test systems and services into customer environments
  • Install, adapt, and configure system software (OS, tester software, tools) according to customer requirements
  • Collect and evaluate customer requirements for product improvement and new product development
  • Handle short‑term projects using project management methodology
Qualifications
  • University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical education with practical experience
  • Proven hands‑on experience in SMD soldering and PCB assembly/repair
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of Linux (Redhat) and IT networks
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Team player, able to work in a global environment
  • Willingness to travel
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Driver's license
  • Fluent in English and German (B1-B2)
