Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is assisting an international provider for the semiconductor industry in Stuttgart area to hire an Electronics & EMC Test Technician/Engineer (f/m/d). The role focuses on setting up and adapting test systems, assembling and maintaining components, and performing EMC testing in a hands-on laboratory environment.

You will work with semiconductor test systems, wafer probers and climate chambers, while developing skills in silicon photonics applications and English-day-to-day

Qualifications

• Completed vocational training in electronics/mechatronics/electrical or similar field.
• Experience with semiconductor test systems or wafer probers.
• Knowledge of electronics, measurement tech or lab testing.
• Experience with test benches and automated test environments.
• Good English skills and willingness to use English in daily work.

Responsibilities

• Set up, modify and adapt technical test systems and lab setups.
• Assemble, disassemble and maintain components.
• Conduct EMC tests and support related setups.
• Perform lifecycle and environmental tests, incl. temperature cycling in climate chambers.
• Assist with installation, configuration and use of PCs and test software.
• Support preparation, execution and documentation of technical tests.
• Learn to work with semiconductor test systems, wafer probers and silicon photonics applications.
• Assist team with general technical lab tasks.

For our client, an international provider for the semiconductor industry, we are looking for an Electronics & EMC Test Technician/Engineer (f/m/d) in Stuttgart area.

Tasks:

• Setting up, modifying and adapting technical test systems and laboratory setups
• Assembling, disassembling and performing practical maintenance on technical components
• Conducting EMC tests and supporting related test setups
• Carrying out lifecycle and environmental testing, particularly temperature cycling tests in climate chambers
• Supporting the installation, configuration and use of PCs and test-related software
• Assisting with the preparation, execution and documentation of technical tests
• Learning to work with semiconductor test systems, wafer probers and, in the longer term, silicon photonics applications
• Supporting the team with general technical laboratory tasks

Profile:

• Completed technical vocational training, for example as an Electronics Technician, Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Technician or in a comparable technical field
• Experience with semiconductor test systems or wafer probers
• Knowledge of electronics, measurement technology or laboratory testing
• Experience working with test benches and automated test environments
• Strong practical skills and an interest in hands‑on work, including assembling and modifying technical systems
• Experience with EMC testing, climate chambers or temperature cycling tests
• Confident using PCs, standard software and technical applications
• Good English skills and willingness to use English regularly in day-to-day work
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
• Motivation to learn new technologies and become familiar with new technical systems

For this role the working contract is done through our agency and is fixed on 15 months with option to be extended or take over.
