About the Role:

As an Electrical Supervisor at H&MV Engineering, you will play a pivotal role in the successful execution of electrical projects, ensuring installations are completed safely, on time, and in accordance with plans and regulations. You will be responsible for managing on-site activities, coordinating teams, and overseeing the delivery of projects to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise electricians and electrical apprentices on site, ensuring work follows drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Allocate daily tasks and monitor progress of electrical work.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and site policies.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings, and identify hazards, enforcing proper use of PPE and safe work practices.
• Inspect electrical installations, including cable containment, wiring, panels, lighting, and power systems, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover of electrical systems.
• Plan labour, materials, and equipment required for electrical activities.
• Coordinate electrical work with other trades, including mechanical, plumbing, and builders.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress to project management.
• Maintain accurate site records, including progress reports, inspections, and safety documentation.
• Review electrical drawings and report discrepancies or required changes.
• Assist with completion reports and handover documentation.
• Identify and resolve technical issues during installation to minimize delays and maintain project timelines.
• Provide guidance and support to electricians and subcontractors to ensure effective delivery of work.

Key Requirements:

• 5 years + experience working in the Electrical Industrial Engineering Industry.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills to liaise with, team members and project managers.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond calmly and decisively in emergency situations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Possess strong computer abilities
