Job summary

Fehr Lagerlogistik GmbH in Ubstadt-Weiher seeks an Electrical plant installer / Energy plant electronics technician to perform complete cabling, electrical installations on machines, and cabinet assembly at customer sites in Germany and Europe. You will ensure safety standards, test functionality, and document results as part of a dynamic, international team.

The role requires training in electrical engineering, experience with low-voltage systems, and readiness for travel.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed training in electrical engineering.
• Experience in low-voltage switchgear production and control engineering.
• Strong technical qualifications and ability to read circuit and wiring diagrams.
• Assembly experience and knowledge of conveyor systems.
• Knowledge of electrotechnical processes and control/drive technology.
• Structured, flexible, independent and goal-oriented work style.
• Fluent in German and English; French is an advantage.
• Willingness for weekend and longer assembly assignments (up to 2 months).
• Deployment mainly in Germany and Europe; readiness for global assembly operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete cabling from control panel to electrical components.
• Independently execute electrical installations on machines and at customer sites.
• Mechanically assemble control cabinets per plans and drawings.
• Label and document control systems.
• Determine and route cable paths per DIN guidelines and remove as needed.
• Observe current regulations, safety rules, DIN, and VDE standards.
• Conduct functional testing and prepare test and acceptance reports.
• Site clearance and handling of tools, materials, and plan revisions.

• The realization of complete cabling according to plans, from the control panel to the electrical components
• The independent execution of all electrical installations on the machine and system parts at the end customer
• Mechanical assembly of control cabinets according to view plans and dimensional drawings
• Labeling and documentation of control systems
• Determine the cable paths (OBO / Bettermann) required for the electrical installation and remove them in accordance with DIN guidelines
• Consideration of current regulations, occupational safety, DIN, VDE, etc.
• Functional testing and creation of test and acceptance reports
• Construction site clearance: return of tools, residual material and revision of plans

Your profile

• You have successfully completed training in the field of electrical engineering
• Experience in low-voltage switchgear production and control engineering
• Very good technical qualifications
• Safe handling of circuit diagrams and wiring diagrams
• Assembly experience, and knowledge in handling conveyor systems
• Knowledge of electrotechnical processes and experience in control and drive technology
• Structured operation coupled with high flexibility
• Highly motivated, independent and goal-oriented work
• Fluent in German and English, French is an advantage but not a requirement
• Readiness for weekend and longer assembly assignments (max. 2 months)
• Deployment mainly in Germany and Europe. Readiness for global assembly operations
• Category B driver's license
• Training time with experienced electrical system installer
