IN2 Engineering in Berlin is seeking an enthusiastic Electrical Engineering Intern to join our growing Berlin team. This full-time, paid internship offers the chance to work on electrical building-services design for projects across residential, hospitality, offices, education, and data centres.

You will gain practical experience, work with experienced engineers, and develop your technical, design and coordination skills while contributing to live projects and international teams.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying or recently graduated in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
• Interested in building design and sustainable engineering.
• Basic knowledge of electrical systems and engineering principles.
• Familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD is a plus.
• Comfortable with English; German language skills are an advantage.
• Organised, curious and willing to learn.
• Able to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Aufgaben

• Support the design of electrical building-services systems.
• Assist with lighting, power, communications, fire alarm and security system designs.
• Prepare calculations, technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Support engineers with equipment selection and technical research.
• Assist with BIM and interdisciplinary design coordination.
• Participate in project meetings and internal design reviews.
• Help review architectural and engineering information.
• Support the preparation of reports and project documentation.

This is an opportunity to gain practical experience within an international engineering consultancy and contribute to the design of electrical building-services systems for real projects across sectors such as residential, hospitality, offices, education and data centres. You will work closely with experienced engineers and receive support as you develop your technical, design and coordination skills.

Your responsibilities

• Support the design of electrical building-services systems.
• Assist with lighting, power, communications, fire alarm and security system designs.
• Prepare calculations, technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
• Support engineers with equipment selection and technical research.

Your profile
