Explore your tasks and responsibilities
- Project planning, calculation, and installation execution planning of electrical power systems
- Knowledge of special design and calculations for electrical power supply systems
- Component selection with definition of technical specifications and data sheets
- Adherence to budget, quality and schedule requirements within the different projects
- Managing of electrical engineer teams in international projects
- Leading of meetings with clients, vendors, contractors and other discipline engineers
- Coordination and control of the interfaces with other disciplines and individual trades
- Work closely within the project team, with other disciplines as well as with engineering companies
- Knowledge of the latest technical regulations, codes of practice and compliance with specifications
Show your expertise
- Design and calculation of electrical power supply systems (medium and low voltage systems, compensation, distribution boards, UPS, Diesel-Gen-Sets, lighting systems, electrical busbars, etc.) depending on different project phases (concept, basic, detail design)
- Calculation of electrical systems including load flow, short circuit, and selectivity analysis
- Design of cable installation systems (cable ladders, cable trays, trenches, etc.)
- Design and specification of electrical drives
- Design of earthing, lightning protection and overvoltage protection systems
- Completed university studies in the field of engineering (Bachelor or Master)
- Extensive years of professional experience in design of electrical power supply systems
- Experience in design of Advanced Technology Facilities preferred
- Experience in leading of project teams
- Confident handling of common computer programs and MS Office applications
- Ability to work in a team, initiative and commitment as well as a high degree of flexibility
- Good English and German language skills, written and spoken
- Willingness to travel and work at construction site
