ALTEN Germany seeks an experienced aerospace engineering professional to lead electrical integration of aircraft seating. You will craft and review electrical system requirements, assess supplier data, and ensure compliance with airworthiness standards.

The role involves collaboration with regulatory authorities and OEM data systems, using Catia/ENOVIA/AutoCAD, with emphasis on safety and robust design. Permanent contract with flexible hours and mobility options.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Manufacturing).
• Extensive Aerospace experience in a Design or Production Organization (EASA/FAA approved).
• Experience as a Design Review or Verification Engineer (DVE/DRE) with electrical discipline relevance.
• Experience with interior modification programs and seat integration in aircraft, with DO-160/178C/254 and System Safety Assessment knowledge.
• Knowledge navigating OEM data systems and using Catia, ENOVIA, IVT or AutoCAD.

Job Description

• Work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements and solutions for commercial aircraft passenger seats.
• Review data from our suppliers for integration approval of seats into the airframe from an electrical point of view, including the review of seat electrical drawings, diagrams and equipment qualification data.
• Define, draft and review documentation for the design and certification of aircraft seating products.
• Collaborate closely with Office of Airworthiness and regulatory authorities to ensure the aircraft cabin is modified in a safe and compliant manner.
• Collaborate closely with the aircraft Type-Certificate holder to ensure seamless integration of seating products into the aircraft, at or following delivery.
• Supervise supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Avionics, Aerospace, Aeronautical and Manufacturing Engineering) or higher degree in engineering.
• Have extensive experience in Aerospace industry within a Design or Production Organization (EASA or FAA approved).
• Have experience as a Design Review or Verification Engineer (DVE/DRE) with terms of approval relevant to the electrical discipline.
• Can demonstrate experience with aircraft interior modification programs especially on the electrical aspect of seat integration, with a high level of attention to detail and have knowledge and experience working with RTCA DO-160, RTCA DO-178C, RTCA DO-254 and System Safety Assessment.
• Have the necessary knowledge in navigating OEM data systems for specifications and standards and have worked with tools like Catia V5 / V6, ENOVIA, IVT or AutoCAD.
