The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer a contract role for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer specializing in grid connection projects for solar photovoltaic (PV) systems.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems and infrastructure to integrate solar PV projects into existing power grids.
• Work closely with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Utilities to ensure that projects comply with all regulatory standards and are executed efficiently.
• Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, including load flow, stability, and short circuit assessments specific to solar PV systems.
• Develop technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents for solar PV grid connection projects.
• Provide technical support during the construction, commissioning, and operational phases of the projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
• Proven experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong focus on grid connections for solar PV systems.
• Experience collaborating with IPPs and Utilities is highly desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks pertinent to electrical infrastructure and solar PV technologies.
