Join us as an EHS Manager in a full-time, permanent capacity, where you'll lead critical safety initiatives on large-scale construction projects—particularly within data centre environments in Frankfurt. This role presents an exciting opportunity to apply your EHS expertise in a progressive, fast-paced setting. You will take charge of developing and managing comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety strategies, ensuring adherence to global and regional standards while championing a culture of continuous safety improvement across all operational sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments; recommend corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Provide expert guidance to management and employees on EHS matters and best practices
  • Deliver safety training programs to enhance EHS awareness across teams.
  • Lead incident and accident investigations, identify root causes, and implement preventive actions.
  • Track and report EHS performance metrics; present findings and improvement plans to leadership.
  • Stay updated on changes to local and international EHS regulations and ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Perform regular compliance audits; address non-conformities and maintain thorough EHS records.
  • Support and manage emergency response planning and conduct safety drills.
  • Engage with EHS committees and liaise with regulatory bodies when needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of EHS experience, ideally within Data Centre, Oil & Gas, or Construction sectors.
  • Solid understanding of local, state, and federal EHS regulations.
  • Strong background in construction with a focus on EHS leadership.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven success in developing and executing EHS programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Skilled in incident investigation and root cause analysis.
  • Strong communication and team management capabilities.
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, ISO, or Certified Safety Professional are highly desirable.
