Responsibilities
- Define objectives (coverage check, quality audit, neighbour verification).
- Ensure equipment ready: measurement tool, GPS, mobile test handset, laptop, etc.
- Parameter audit / Pre‑Drive: Check that measurement equipment configuration is correct.
- Drive & Data Collection: Perform the actual drive (vehicle or walking), ensure consistent speed and known route.
- Load logs into analysis tools (MapInfo, TEMS, NEMO, etc.).
- Analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Call Setup Success Rate (CSSR), Drop Rate, Handover Success Rate, RSRP/RSRQ for LTE.
- Based on findings, propose antenna tilt changes, neighbour list updates, power adjustments, new site deployment, etc.
- Generate report with maps, tables, charts, and deliver to stakeholders.

- RSRQ – Reference Signal Received Quality (Signal Quality)
- CQI – Channel Quality Indicator (data throughput context)

- Coverage % – area coverage versus target
- Retention & Mobility Stats – sustained call and throughput performance
