Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Dispatch Agent.
Responsibilities
- Preparing courier schedules and routes
- Coordinating the distribution of work amongst couriers helping them to achieve station's operational goals in the most efficient way.
- Monitoring the daily delivery cycle, updating systems with accurate information to ensure correct execution of the daily pick‑up and delivery assignments.
- Providing support to the couriers and assisting them with issue resolution.
- Contacting customers when needed to obtain additional information or advise on potential service‑related issues.
- Proactively reporting any issues that occurred during the daily delivery cycle to management and compiling reports on station's productivity, volumes and performance.
What you bring with you
- Experience in co‑ordinating a team in a busy transport and/or dispatch environment is an advantage.
- Good Microsoft Office & PC skills.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Focused on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Driven to solve problems while using planning and organizing skills.
- Able to communicate and align with different stakeholders.
- Ability to manage own and team's time effectively with attention to detail in a pressurised environment.

Disposition
Arbeitszeit 11:00-19:00. Die Vergütung erfolgt nach dem gültigen Flächentarifvertrag.
Job duties (German)
- Briefing und Debriefing der Nahverkehrspartner.
- Übergabe und Übernahme der Sendungsdokumentation sowie deren Kontrolle.
- Hallendisposition.
- Schnittstelle zwischen Frachtführern und Mitarbeitern der angrenzenden Abteilungen.
- Datenerfassung der POD’s.
- Bearbeitung der Abholaufträge unter Berücksichtigung der Sonderfälle gem. ISO Handbuch.
- Bearbeitung und Verantwortung von Nachnamen.
Your qualifications profile
- Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung oder vergleichbare Qualifikation im Bereich Transport & Logistik.
- Englischkenntnisse.
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse.
- Fundierte Kenntnisse operationeller Abläufe.
- Gute MS‑Office Kenntnisse.
- Bereitschaft zu flexiblen Arbeitszeiten/Schichtdienst.
- Teamfähigkeit, Belastbarkeit, Flexibilität.
