Zusammenfassung

DHL Supply Chain is seeking a Director of Technical Design & Development to steer the global Oracle ERP solution and related enterprise applications. You will translate business needs into robust technical designs and lead the full development lifecycle from architecture through delivery.

You will work with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to ensure strategies align with global priorities, promote best practices, security and performance, and lead teams and external partners to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Proven ability to recruit, lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams.
• Extensive experience in Oracle application development and Oracle Cloud solutions.
• Advanced PL/SQL programming skills and complex DB optimization.
• Experience in large, complex IT environments and critical systems.

• Solid understanding of Oracle ERP platforms and integrations.

Lead the Technical Design and Development function, driving the delivery of scalable, high-quality solutions across Oracle ERP and related enterprise applications. Accountable for translating complex business and finance requirements into robust technical solutions, this role oversees the full development lifecycle, from solution design and architecture through to delivery, support, and continuous improvement.

• Lead and develop high-performing technical teams and external resources.
• Establish and maintain technical standards, governance, and compliance with IT policies.

What are we looking for from you?

• Proven ability to recruit, lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams, driving collaboration, performance, and successful delivery of business objectives.
• Extensive experience in Oracle application development and support, including Oracle Cloud solutions, covering business analysis, solution design, development, implementation, integration, and continuous enhancement of enterprise applications.
• Advanced PL/SQL programming skills, with experience developing and optimising complex database solutions.
• Strong background working within large, complex IT environments, supporting business-critical systems and applications.
• Proven ability to lead technical delivery, translate business requirements into effective solutions, and drive continuous improvement across the application lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of Oracle ERP platforms, integrations, support models, and development best practices.
