Honest Health, a healthcare innovator, is seeking a Director of Strategic Finance to serve as a senior finance partner to business and executive leaders. You will lead analyses across risk contracts, partnerships, and value-based care initiatives, translating complex data into actionable recommendations for growth.

Qualifikationen

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or related field is required.
  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance or strategy in a fast-paced org.
  • Proven ability to develop complex financial models for forecasting and ROI analysis.
  • Experience creating materials for executive/board audiences with financial insights.
  • Strong ability to translate financial data into clear insights and actionable decisions.
  • Experience partnering with senior leaders across functions in a matrixed environment.
  • Experience with SQL/Tableau or healthcare analytics tools is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to Nashville, TN and other locations occasionally.

Your Role

As Director, Strategic Finance, you will serve as a senior finance partner to business and executive leaders, producing insights that improve decision‑making, optimize performance, and support the growth and scalability of Honest Health’s core offerings. Building on the foundation of advanced financial modeling, strategic analysis, and cross‑functional partnership within the Strategic Finance function, this role carries accountability for shaping enterprise financial insights, supporting long‑range planning, evaluating growth initiatives, and translating complex financial and operational data into actionable recommendations.

In this role, you will lead high‑impact financial analyses across existing and prospective value‑based care arrangements, including risk contracts, new partnerships, reimbursement models, and enterprise initiatives. You will develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, support executive and Board‑level materials, and partner closely with Finance, Actuarial, Operations, Market Leadership, and other functional leaders to evaluate performance, identify financial opportunities and risks, and inform strategic choices.

Primary Functions of the Director, Strategic Finance Include:
  • Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models for existing and prospective risk contracts, including assumptions related to attribution, Per Member Per Month (PMPM) revenue, medical expense trends, quality initiatives, reimbursement models, and performance scenarios.

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner to executive, market, and functional leaders by translating financial and operational data into clear insights, recommendations, and decision‑support materials.

  • Lead scenario modeling, risk analysis, and ROI assessments to support enterprise decision‑making, growth initiatives, partnership opportunities, new programs, and performance improvement efforts.

  • Contribute to strategic planning cycles, annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial outlooks, ensuring financial assumptions are well‑supported, clearly communicated, and aligned with organizational priorities.

  • Develop executive, Board, investor, and senior leadership materials, including strategic analyses, financial updates, performance narratives, key performance indicators, and recommendations for action.

  • Partner closely with Actuarial, Analytics, Operations, Market Leadership, and Finance teams to interpret claims data, evaluate cost drivers, monitor medical expense and MLR trends, and assess financial performance against benchmarks.

  • Lead cross‑functional financial analysis for new programs, partnerships, market opportunities, reimbursement arrangements, and value‑based care initiatives, ensuring financial implications are clearly understood before decisions are made.

  • Design, enhance, and scale finance processes, reporting tools, and performance management practices that improve the flow of financial insights across internal stakeholders.

  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, accounting, or related field is required. Master’s-level degree considered a plus

  • 5+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, corporate finance and/or corporate strategy experience in a high‑performing, fast‑paced organization

  • Demonstrated experience developing complex financial models for forecasting business performance, evaluate financial scenarios, and projecting project ROI or business impact

  • Experience developing presentation materials for executive and board of director audiences of financial insights and performance results

  • Strong ability to translate complex financial, operational, and healthcare data into clear insights, recommendations, and business decisions.

  • Experience partnering cross‑functionally with senior leaders in a matrixed environment

  • Experience working with SQL, Tableau, or other healthcare analytics tools is preferred

  • Able to travel to Nashville, TN and/or other locations on an occasional basis

The base pay range for this role is $145,200.00 - $172,850.00. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Honest. Eligible roles also qualify for short‑term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.
