A leading data management company is seeking an experienced Sales Engineering Director to lead a team in supporting operations and sales. The role requires strong leadership capabilities, technical expertise in SaaS applications, and excellent skills in customer engagement. You will develop the Sales Engineering organization, ensure effective resource management, and maintain communication with key customers. The ideal candidate is fluent in German and English, with a proven track record in building high-performing teams.

In this role you will be responsible for leading a business unit or vertical team of Sales Engineers (SEs) supporting Commvault’s sales process. Working in close partnership with the Sales Leaders, the SE Director will play a critical role in the sales process where their team is responsible for developing the technical architecture, alignment of resources, creating and rolling out various sales programs, and defining and driving a successful system engineering processes to successfully support growth of Commvault’s products. In addition, this role will work closely with Marketing, Customer Services, Technical Support, Professional Services and Development to achieve sales targets.
