We are seeking a strategic and execution-oriented leader to serve as Director of Organizational Effectiveness, responsible for driving enterprise-wide organizational design, transformation, and performance improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will be an experienced advisor to senior leadership—someone capable of shaping the company’s operating model, workforce structure, and talent strategies to enable long‑term growth and operational excellence. This role requires a blend of analytical rigor, change management expertise, and the ability to deliver measurable outcomes through collaboration and influence across multiple geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise and regional organizational design and effectiveness initiatives, ensuring alignment with business strategy, financial goals, and cultural objectives.
- Partner with senior leadership and Finance to translate business imperatives into organization structures, workforce plans, and role clarity frameworks.
- Design and implement governance structures (e.g., PMOs, steering committees) to manage change initiatives and ensure disciplined, timely execution.
- Drive process optimization and workforce redesign efforts to enhance agility, efficiency, and accountability across global functions.
- Lead diagnostic assessments of organizational health, spans and layers, and decision‑making effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to design operating models that support business transformation, integration, and growth.
- Oversee organizational change management strategies, including stakeholder engagement, communication, and transition planning.
- Ensure compliance with local employment regulations and best practices during restructuring or transformation efforts.
- Build internal capability by embedding organizational effectiveness tools, frameworks, and analytics within HR and business teams.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executives, using data‑driven insights to guide organization design and effective decisions.
Experience & Background
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR, Business, or Organizational Development preferred.
- 10–15+ years of experience in HR, organizational effectiveness, or transformation roles within complex, multi‑country environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in organizational design, workforce planning, and change management.
- Proven ability to drive large‑scale transformation programs across diverse business functions or geographies.
- Strong understanding of employment law and restructuring frameworks across key European markets (Germany, France, UK, etc.).
- Experience leading PMOs or cross‑functional project teams for major organizational initiatives.
- Skilled in using analytics, benchmarking, and spans / layers modeling to drive insight‑based design decisions.
- Experience in manufacturing or transformation‑focused industries preferred.
