Job summary

CommuniCare Family of Companies is seeking an experienced RN to lead the nursing team as Director of Nursing at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon, IN. The DON will oversee clinical services, coordinate care programs, and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, with several years of clinical management and DON leadership experience. CPR certification and strong communication with staff and families are required.

Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• 5 years clinical management experience, preferably in a long term care environment.
• Prior DON experience is highly preferred.
• Must be knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to long term care administration.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• The ability to communicate well with employees and families about their issues.
• Must maintain CPR certification.
