Knauf Information Services GmbH in Kitzingen, Germany seeks a senior IT leader to architect and execute global SCM IT strategies, aligning IT initiatives with business goals. You will guide a large, diverse team, promote high performance, and drive transformation across production planning, logistics, and order management.

The role requires a Master’s degree and strong English and German communication skills, with openness to regular travel worldwide to Knauf sites.

What you'll do

• Architect and execute cutting-edge SCM IT strategies that align IT initiatives with overarching business goals, ensuring seamless integration and maximum impact
• Inspire, guide, and develop the SCM team, fostering a culture of excellence and high performance through mentorship, training, and strategic direction
• Oversee all facets of Supply Chain & Production Planning, Intralogistics & Warehousing, Order Management, as well as Inbound and Outbound Logistics, ensuring efficient and effective operations
• Champion the adoption of innovative technologies while continuously optimizing existing processes, driving improvements and efficiencies across SCM functions
• Strategically manage the IT SCM budget, driving cost efficiencies and ensuring optimal allocation of resources to support business objectives and sustainable growth

Who you are

• Demonstrated success in leading large global IT teams (40-50 members), providing clear direction, fostering professional growth, and cultivating a high-performance culture
• Highly motivated by change and transformation, viewing these as avenues for continuous learning and development, and driving positive organizational change
• Proficient in both cloud and non-cloud technologies, including SAP S/4HANA and Blue Yonder, with a balanced mix of business process knowledge and IT expertise to bridge the gap between technology and business needs
• Exceptional communicator and collaborator, adept at navigating complex challenges in multicultural environments as well as experienced in using project management tools and agile methodologies such as ServiceNow and Jira
• Master’s Degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, fluency in English and German as well es openness to regular travels to Knauf sites worldwide
