Honeywell Aerospace seeks a seasoned Government Relations leader to shape and execute its strategy in Germany and neighboring CEE countries from Berlin. The role requires deep knowledge of German institutions, plus fluency in English and German, with Czech/Polish language skills a strong advantage.

You will drive policy advocacy, build strategic partnerships with ministries, regulators, and industry bodies, and guide executives on risks and opportunities in a complex regulatory landscape.

Qualifikationen

• 10-12 years of experience in government relations or policy advocacy, ideally in aerospace/defense/advanced tech sectors.
• Deep understanding of German political institutions and legislative processes; knowledge of Czech/Polish landscapes is a plus.
• Experience influencing high-level policy and shaping regulatory outcomes.
• Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy aligned with business objectives.

• Monitor and respond to legislative/regulatory developments affecting aerospace and defense.
• Coordinate engagement with European and international policy priorities.
• Advise regional leaders on government affairs risks and opportunities.
• Represent Honeywell Aerospace in industry forums and coalitions.
• Drive partnerships with domestic contractors on joint government initiatives.

• Drive brand recognition and excellence with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• 10-12 years of experience in government relations or policy advocacy, ideally within the aerospace, defense, or advanced technology sectors.
• Deep understanding of German political institutions and legislative processes, and good understanding of the Czech and Polish landscapes.
• Proven expertise in policy development, contracts and budgets pertaining to the Defense Ministry and/or the Transport or Research Ministries.
• Experience engaging with German authorities and responding to emerging and new legislative developments relevant to the aerospace sector.
• Demonstrated experience influencing high-level policy, driving advocacy strategies, and shaping regulatory outcomes.
• Ability to develop and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently with a strong entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strong networking capability with officials at local and national levels.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Fluency or good command of Czech and/or Polish is a strong advantage.
