Your goal

As an Exit Ready Director, you will be a trusted advisor to German SME entrepreneurs. You will guide them through the complex process of preparing their businesses for a sale, providing strategic, financial, and operational advice. Your expertise and seniority will allow you to build deep relationships with clients, positioning Marktlink as their partner of choice.


Your responsibilities
  • Act as a trusted advisor to SME entrepreneurs, guiding them through the exit preparation process;
  • Lead consultancy projects focused on improving operational efficiency, financial performance, and strategic positioning to maximize company value;
  • Conduct in-depth analyses of clients’ businesses to identify opportunities for optimization and value enhancement;
  • Collaborate with the client and internal teams to develop and implement tailored exit strategies;
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior, medior and/or senior consultants involved in project execution;
  • Deliver workshops, masterclasses, and presentations to educate clients on exit readiness;
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships based on trust and expertise.

Your profile
  • Experience in business improvement, corporate finance, or M&A advisory;
  • Proven experience working with SMEs and an understanding of the unique challenges they face;
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess business performance and identify areas for improvement;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of building trust with senior-level stakeholders;
  • Native German speaker with a deep understanding of German business culture;
  • Willingness to travel across NRW Germany to meet with clients;
  • A sales- and target driven, entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for helping businesses succeed.
