CompuGroup Medical SE & Co. KGaA seeks a senior technology leader to drive end‑to‑end delivery of ambulatory SaaS solutions and a shared framework across AIS DE products.

You will shape the cloud‑based roadmap, embed healthcare regulatory requirements, and lead cross‑functional teams to raise AI maturity and delivery velocity. The role demands a track record in large distributed engineering, excellent German and English communication, and a strategic, entrepreneurial mindset committed to CGM's

Qualifikationen

• Long‑standing leadership at Director/VP/CTO level in SaaS product development.
• Academic background with excellent grades in computer science, medical informatics, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures, SaaS platforms, DevOps, and reliability engineering; healthcare regulations are a plus.
• Proven track record driving AI adoption and shaping AI pipelines at scale.
• Excellent English and German; strategic, entrepreneurial mindset with strong execution and communication skills.

Your Impact

• You take end-to-end accountability for a large, distributed engineering organization that owns our ambulatory SaaS solutions and the shared framework modules used across all AIS DE products.
• You co‑define and drive the strategic product‑technology roadmap for our cloud‑based ambulatory portfolio in close collaboration with the executive leadership team.
• You ensure that healthcare regulatory requirements—including medical device regulations, audits, and compliance—are rigorously embedded into product development, delivery, and operations.
• You lead senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, continuously increasing scalability, quality, AI maturity, and innovation velocity across products and platforms.
• You represent the domain internally and externally, build strong executive‑level stakeholder relationships, and position CGM as a leading SaaS provider in the Health‑IT market.

Your Profile

• Long‑standing leadership experience at Director / VP / CTO level in SaaS product development, ideally with responsibility for large, distributed engineering organizations and complex product portfolios.
• Exceptional academic background with a completed university degree and excellent grades, preferably in computer science, medical informatics, engineering, or a comparable technical field.
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures and SaaS platforms, including modern DevOps practices and reliability engineering; hands‑on experience with healthcare regulations (medical devices, audits, certifications) is a strong advantage.
• Proven track record of driving AI adoption in engineering organizations, ideally with first‑hand familiarity of Claude Code or comparable agentic coding tools (agents, skills, and workflows) and experience shaping AI pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering at organizational scale.
• Excellent English and very good German, a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution focus, outstanding leadership and communication skills, and the ability to guide complex organizations through transformation while staying clearly aligned with our healthcare purpose.
