CompuGroup Medical seeks a seasoned technology leader to oversee a large, distributed engineering organization responsible for ambulatory SaaS solutions and shared framework modules across AIS DE products.

You will co-define the strategic product-technology roadmap in close collaboration with executive leadership, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding safety, audits, and certifications into delivery and operations.

Qualifikationen

• Leadership experience at Director/VP/CTO level in SaaS product development.
• Strong academic background with a university degree in a technical field.
• Deep expertise in cloud architectures and SaaS platforms, DevOps and reliability.
• Experience driving AI adoption in engineering, familiarity with AI tools.

Your Impact:

• You take end-to-end accountability for a large, distributed engineering organization that owns our ambulatory SaaS solutions and the shared framework modules used across all AIS DE products.


• You co‑define and drive the strategic product‑technology roadmap for our cloud‑based ambulatory portfolio in close collaboration with the executive leadership team.


• You ensure that healthcare regulatory requirements—including medical device regulations, audits, and compliance—are rigorously embedded into product development, delivery, and operations.


• You lead senior leaders and cross‑functional teams, continuously increasing scalability, quality, AI maturity, and innovation velocity across products and platforms.


• You represent the domain internally and externally, build strong executive‑level stakeholder relationships, and position CGM as a leading SaaS provider in the Health‑IT market.

Your Profile:

• Long‑standing leadership experience at Director / VP / CTO level in SaaS product development, ideally with responsibility for large, distributed engineering organizations and complex product portfolios.


• Exceptional academic background with a completed university degree and excellent grades, preferably in computer science, medical informatics, engineering, or a comparable technical field.


• Deep expertise in cloud architectures and SaaS platforms, including modern DevOps practices and reliability engineering; hands‑on experience with healthcare regulations (medical devices, audits, certifications) is a strong advantage.


• Proven track record of driving AI adoption in engineering organizations, ideally with first‑hand familiarity of Claude Code or comparable agentic coding tools (agents, skills, and workflows) and experience shaping AI pipelines, harnesses, and context engineering at organizational scale.


• Excellent English and very good German, a strategic and entrepreneurial mindset, strong execution focus, outstanding leadership and communication skills, and the ability to guide complex organizations through transformation while staying clearly aligned with our healthcare purpose.
