We are Edenspiekermann - an independent design consultancy with 40+ years of experience helping world-leading organizations invent, build, and evolve their products. Our Product Strategy practice works directly with product teams at the intersection of market insight, design excellence, and AI-driven development.

Our interaction designers work in agile and interdisciplinary teams on websites and platforms for major brands as well as for startups. Our teams combine conceptual thinking, a sophisticated understanding of design and a deep knowledge of web and app development to develop a digital product or service with a user-centric approach. In doing so, we advise and coach our clients' teams to provide the best customer experience for their customers.

Your Tasks

• You lead client engagements end-to-end - from product market fit workshops to product org design - acting as a trusted sparring partner for CPOs, Heads of Product, and VP-level stakeholders
• You help clients invent and sharpen their product direction: translating user research, market signals, and business goals into actionable product strategy and roadmaps
• You guide product innovation engagements, including AI-driven product development and agentic workflow integration - with real proof points, not just buzzwords
• You know how product teams tick, what slows them down, and how to unlock them - whether that means restructuring team setups, clarifying decision rights, or redesigning their ways of working
• You bring a strong design eye and advocate for design culture within client organizations, helping them build the conditions for great products to flourish
• You act as the primary contact and project owner for your clients, driving trust, clarity, and strategic confidence
• You coach and inspire more junior colleagues, helping them grow into strategic contributors
• You help shape Edenspiekermann’s product strategy offering, contributing to how we pitch, deliver, and talk about this work and develop our methods further

Your profile

• You have a minimum of 8 years of experience in product strategy, product design, or digital consulting - with at least 3 years in an agency or consultancy context
• You have a strong track record working with product teams in complex organizations, ideally in enterprise or regulated industries
• You are deeply fluent in product thinking: product-market fit, iteration frameworks, product org design, and the full lifecycle of digital product development
• You have hands-on experience with AI-driven product development and can demonstrate real proof points in agentic workflows, AI product strategy, or AI-assisted delivery
• You have an eye for great design and a genuine appreciation for design culture - you don’t just think in roadmaps, you care about what gets shipped. You also have working knowledge of brand strategy mechanics and understand how brand and product thinking reinforce each other
• Your communication skills are excellent - you're equally at home facilitating a C-level strategy session and running a hands‑on product workshop
• You communicate fluently in English; German is a strong plus
• You bring a consultancy mindset: structured thinking, business acumen, and the ability to work in fast-moving, ambiguous environments without losing your perspective
• You are ready to take ownership, make decisions, and bring energy and clarity to complex client situations
• You are a disciplinary leader - you know how to build, develop, and retain a team, create a culture of feedback and accountability, and foster individual growth alongside collective output
