Your key responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic advisor and staff function to the CEO on corporate messaging, reputation management, and stakeholder engagement
• Define and execute the global Corporate Communication strategy aligned with the company’s vision, growth strategy, and corporate priorities
• Build and maintain strong relationships with external PR agencies, communications advisors, and creative partners in the pharmaceutical, biotech, and life sciences industries
• Lead the development, writing, and publication of the company’s annual report, ensuring alignment with corporate strategy, performance, innovation pipeline, sustainability commitments, longterm value creation, and regulatory requirements
• Drive communication initiatives supporting leadership visibility, corporate transformation, and cultural development to strengthen employee engagement, transparency, and alignment with corporate goals
• Collaborate with HR to support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives
• Reinforce the company’s commitment to patients and patient-centric innovation by building relationships with advocacy groups, industry associations, regulators, and key external stakeholders
• Drive executive thought leadership
• Partner with Marketing to amplify corporate messaging across digital channels
• Support communication activities for global conferences, industry events, fairs and strategic announcements
• Manage the Corporate Communication and PR budget and ensure efficient allocation of resources to maximize strategic impact, demonstrate ROI of communications initiatives

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
• Relevant years of experience in Corporate Communications or Public Relations, preferably within the pharmaceutical, biotech, or CDMO industry
• Proven experience in advising senior leadership and C-level executives on strategic communication matters, capable of influencing and convincing key stakeholders
• Strong track record in media relations, executive communications, and corporate storytelling
• Experience managing corporate reporting processes, including annual reports or integrated reporting
• Knowledge of ESG communication, sustainability frameworks, and stakeholder engagement
• A strategic partner in the company's cultural transformation journey
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is an advantage
