Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director (all genders) for Industrial Transformation across multiple German locations. You will lead large-scale transformation, drive EBITDA improvement, and partner with CEOs and boards to set strategic priorities.

You will guide engagements from diagnosis to execution, collaborating with operations, finance, S&OP, and R&D, and may take interim leadership roles as needed.

Qualifikationen

• An excellent university degree and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills.
• +10 years of professional experience, including +5 years in a global top-tier restructuring, strategy or management consulting firm.
• Demonstrated history of achievement within a consulting firm.
• In-depth knowledge of industries such as machinery & equipment, automotive, industrial products, chemicals, aerospace & defence, energy.

• Act as a trusted advisor and, where required, step into interim leadership roles

Corporate Transformation Services (CTS) as one of A&M’s core competencies advise clients in improving profitability targets and leading clients out of strategic and operational crisis situations in a sustainable manner.

Within CTS, the EMEA Industrial Transformation Team focuses on delivering top- and bottom-line impact across aerospace & defence, automotive, industrial products, chemicals, and energy. Our team combines industry expertise with strategic insight, advising or stepping into interim leadership roles to implement performance improvements that stick.

How You Will Contribute

As Director (all genders), Industrial Transformation you will:

• Lead (large-scale) transformation, restructuring, and performance improvement initiatives
• Drive complex engagements from initial diagnostic through execution, often in high-pressure or time-critical situations
• Partner with CEOs, Boards, and senior management to set priorities, stabilize performance, and drive enterprise-wide improvement

• Demonstrated history of achievement within a consulting firm, showcasing a dedication to professional growth and excellence
• In-depth knowledge of one or more of the following industries: machinery & equipment, automotive, OEM supplier, industrial products, chemicals, aerospace & defence, energy, etc.
• Entrepreneurial and impact-driven mindset
• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and German at native/business level
