Digital Transformation Manager (m / f / d)

To strengthen our newly established Digital Transformation team, we are looking for an ambitious Digital Transformation Manager (m / f / d) who is eager to identify, shape and deliver impactful digital initiatives in close collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders. The successful candidate brings a strong mix of analytical thinking, curiosity for digital technologies, and a hands‑on attitude—combined with the ability to structure complex topics, communicate clearly, and drive initiatives forward in a dynamic environment.

Location : Mannheim

Ihre Aufgaben
  • Drive the planning, structuring, and implementation of strategic digital initiatives together with internal partners and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare concepts, strategic decision papers, and presentations for senior leadership and the Digital Transformation domain.
  • Advance business development by engaging with key stakeholders both in the PHOENIX countries as well as the Competence Centers, assess new digital use cases and summarize results for CIO decision meeting.
  • Engage in ad‑hoc problem solving to resolve potential obstacles that may limit the timely delivery of digital initiatives.
  • Review and evaluate the financial viability of strategic digital initiatives (e.g., tool‑based value tracking) and create management reporting
Ihr Profil
  • Professional experience and proven track record in digital transformation, strategy, consulting, or innovation management.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills, combined with a ‘can do’ attitude and the desire to shape Digital Transformation in PHOENIX.
  • Expert proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
  • High interest in digital technologies, AI trends, and their practical application in business. Proactive, structured, and independent working style, paired with strong team orientation.
  • Excellent (top management–)communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, (Business) IT, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
