The following challenges await you:

• Identify and implement high‑impact AI use cases across research, development, and innovation.
• Design and support AI‑enabled research environments, including integration with lab systems, data platforms, and knowledge management solutions.
• Drive key AI‑assisted research capabilities such as data analysis, knowledge discovery, experimental planning, and workflow automation.
• Support the digital transformation of R&D by improving research workflows, data environments, and collaboration processes.
• Contribute to the development of a long‑term digital innovation strategy, including AI integration and lab digitalization.
• Monitor emerging technologies (e.g. generative AI, AI agents, digital labs) and translate them into practical use cases and pilot projects.
• Build and strengthen a cross‑company innovation ecosystem with internal and external partners.
• Act as a trusted advisor to innovation leaders and drive cross‑functional collaboration to accelerate innovation and reduce time‑to‑market.

Your profile:

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, natural sciences or a comparable technical field
• Several years of experience applying AI, data science or digital technologies in R&D, Innovation organizations or technology‑driven industries
• Strong understanding of existing and emerging AI technologies with direct relevance to scientific environments
• Ability to combine strategic thinking with hands‑on implementation
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, especially when working with senior Innovation leaders and technical experts
• Experience working in international and cross‑functional environments is a plus
