Zusammenfassung

kasasi GmbH is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to drive the evolution of our web platform. You will ensure security, performance, and high availability while automating and scaling infrastructure.

You will operate production systems, manage databases, design CI/CD, implement IaC with Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible, and collaborate with software teams to shape deployment strategies. Fluency in German (C2) and strong English are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable qualification.
• Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or IT infrastructure.
• Hands-on Linux administration, Debian-based systems.
• Containerisation and orchestration: Docker & Kubernetes.
• Scripting in Bash and Python.
• Experience with open-source databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; collaborative within cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in German (C2) and good English.

As a DevOps/Platform Engineer, you will play a key role in driving the technological evolution of our web-based platform. Working closely with our software development teams, you will ensure the security, performance and high availability of our infrastructure, while also driving its continuous automation and scalability.

• Operate and maintain our production infrastructure, continuously improving it
• Manage and support the database, security, networking and VPN infrastructures
• Design, automate and optimise CI/CD pipelines, as well as build and deployment processes
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible
• Operate and enhance monitoring, logging and alerting solutions
• Analyse, troubleshoot and proactively prevent issues in production environments
• Work closely with software engineering teams to develop architecture, operations and deployment strategies

What you bring with you

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification is required
• Professional experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering or IT infrastructure
• Strong hands‑on experience of administering Linux servers, preferably Debian‑based systems
• Practical experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (Docker and Kubernetes), as well as modern automation and infrastructure as code practices
• Solid scripting and programming skills, particularly in Bash and Python
• Experience with open‑source technologies such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka and Redis would be advantageous
• I have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, a structured approach to work, and the ability to collaborate effectively within cross‑functional teams
• Fluency in German at C2 level, as well as a good command of spoken and written English
