Job summary

ISO-Gruppe is seeking a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) for its sites in Nürnberg and other locations with a flexible home-office model of up to 90%. You will maintain applications, automate builds, and optimize distributed runtimes while supporting customers in project work and 3rd level support.

Key tasks include setting up test/production environments, monitoring pipelines, and driving CI/CD initiatives to ensure robust deployment processes across multiple environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or comparable field with relevant professional experience.
• Experience automating processes for CI/CD.
• Experience setting up complex Java/JavaScript runtime environments.
• Several years with DevOps/automation tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins).
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (ELK Stack, Prometheus, Grafana) and databases.
• Very good English skills and strong communication.

The workplace is located at one of our sites in Nuremberg, Frankfurt am Main, Berlin, Würzburg, Munich, Vienna or Czestochowa with a flexible home office model of up to 90%.

Your tasks

• You will be responsible for maintaining our applications and supporting the team in the release process
• Automation and setup of build processes
• Continuous optimization and development of distributed runtime environments
• Supporting our customers in project business and 3rd level support
• Setting up test and production environments as well as developing monitoring solutions in the area of testing and production
• Responsibility for setting up a deployment pipeline and supporting the CI/CD process

Your profile

• A successfully completed degree in Computer Science or a comparable field with relevant professional experience
• Experience in automating processes for development based on the principle of continuous integration and deployment
• In-depth knowledge of setting up complex runtime environments in Java and JavaScript
• Several years of experience with DevOps/automation tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Jenkins and comparable tools
• Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g., ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana) und databases
• Very good English skills
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
