Jobtailor is seeking a DevOps Engineer to optimize automation, scalability, and reliability for high-traffic web apps hosted on Kubernetes. You will support production workloads and partner with full-stack developers to manage complex deployments in development environments.

The role emphasizes DevOps and MLOps practices, with opportunities to learn and experiment up to 25% of time, and a focus on implementing robust CI/CD, GitOps, and infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Helm on Google

Qualifikationen

• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Experience with Helm, including writing and maintaining custom Helm charts.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform or similar).
• Experience running production workloads on Kubernetes.
• Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with GitOps and continuous delivery tools such as Flux CD.
• Solid understanding of infrastructure-as-code tools (ideally Terraform).
• Familiarity with Linux, shell scripting, and/or Python.
• Experience with observability, including logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
• Experience with creating machine learning pipelines or willingness to learn them on the job.
• Fluency in English.
